With a professional background spanning the medical industry, she served as a pharmaceutical sales representative for five years before managing a dental office for 15 years.

Michael Marana

Michael Marana is an experienced insurance agent based in Negaunee and Iron Mountain, Michigan, holding licenses in Property, Casualty, Life, Accident, Health, and Annuities. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Business Administration, with a focus on Finance and Investment Management, from the University of Alabama in 2015.



Following graduation, Michael founded Michael Marana - State Farm, operating a successful State Farm agency in Negaunee from September 2016 to July 2021. On July 12, 2021, he partnered with his mother to establish Wilson Marana Insurance, expanding their reach to serve clients in both Negaunee and Iron Mountain. Together, they specialize in providing tailored insurance solutions, with a focus on health, Medicare, and life insurance.

With a deep-rooted passion for finance, Michael is committed to simplifying insurance options for families and retirees. He takes a personalized approach, building strong relationships with clients to customize health and financial protection plans that align with their unique needs and goals. Elena is a licensed Life and Health insurance agent, serving clients from our Negaunee and Iron Mountain offices since April 2024. Specializing in Medicare, she is dedicated to guiding clients through their healthcare options with expertise and compassion. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Elena brings a warm, community-oriented perspective to her work.

Her background as a licensed veterinary technician has equipped her with a deep understanding of medical processes and a genuine passion for helping others. Years in the veterinary field have honed her communication skills and reinforced her commitment to ensuring individuals receive the care and coverage they need.

Andrew Finkel

Andrew Finkel is a licensed Life and Health insurance agent with over five years of professional experience in the insurance industry. Originally from Mackinac Island, Michigan, Andrew earned his Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Michigan State University in 2011.

Based in Iron Mountain, Michigan, for the past five years, Andrew is dedicated to providing exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions to meet the unique needs of his clients. His mission is to serve as a trusted local expert, ensuring individuals and families have the comprehensive coverage they require.



With a passion for community and an active lifestyle, Andrew enjoys running, hiking, camping, and canoeing in the scenic surroundings of Iron Mountain. He looks forward to leveraging his expertise to deliver personalized insurance guidance and support to his clients.

Amanda Young

Amanda is a dedicated professional with a strong background in healthcare and community involvement. Originally from northern Texas, she relocated to the area 23 years ago and has since become an active member of her community. Amanda earned an Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and Phlebotomy from Bay College, equipping her with the skills to excel in the medical field. She spent over 13 years working in nursing homes and physician offices, where she honed her expertise in patient care and laboratory services.

For the past decade, Amanda has embraced her role as a devoted stay-at-home mother to her four children. In addition to her family responsibilities, she is passionate about giving back to her community through volunteering at the NSRCC. Amanda enjoys supporting her children in their various sports activities and cherishes spending quality time with her family. Her commitment to both her professional background and personal values reflects her compassionate and well-rounded character.
